After Prakash Raj walked out of Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu due to differences with Dil Raju, the makers found it tough to find a replacement for him. After having talks with various actors and screen testing them with the desired getup, they have decided to cast Nazar in that role.
This character is a vital one in the context of the film and Prakash Raj was the obvious choice for the director. However, he was forced to replace him due to the actor’s disinterest in doing the movie. Nazar too has a good rapport with Mahesh Babu.
Nazar played grandfather’s role of Mahesh in Athadu and father in law character in Dookudu. He will now be playing father of Mahesh and Venkatesh in SVSC. Samantha, Anjali and Jayasudha are doing other important roles.
