One of the literary personalities of Kannada literature Kum Veerabhadrappa known for frank observations and sketching stark realities in his works has come out openly on the decision of 59th National awards that were announced yesterday.

Dr Girish Kasaravalli directed ‘Kurmavathara’ that is based on his novel should have received the ‘Swarana Kamala’ instead of ‘Rajat Kamal’ argues Kum Veerabhadrappa.
