The team of BK Srinivas ‘Alemari’ is completely ‘dilkush’ for various good developments from the beginning of the film. It is now ready with the first print and slated to go before the Regional Censor on Saturday. BK Srinivas has announced the tentative date as March 2, 2012 and after this he will be releasing ‘Bhagirathi’ that is all set.
‘Alemari’ Kannada cinema of BK Srinivas film jointly made by Harsha Enterprises and Ashwini Media Network limited is all set for March first week release. BK Srinivas in his last press meet related to the film invited on Mahashivarathri day for release of the trailer of the film. Earlier to it he had a spectacular audio release at Gayathri Vihar a fortnight ago.
I have spent over Rs.25 lakhs on the publicity so far. In 250 theatres via Cube and UFO trailers of two minutes and thirty seven seconds of the film will be available. 5000 kits of RK Jamoon, autos, public places have got the ‘Alemari’ posters. A number of calls for giving the film outright have come. There are 20 and odd buyers for the film and I have not decided on giving away the rights. For television also I have not decided on the sale of the film explained BK Srinivas.
Director Santhu is happy for the 50 percent of the burden reducing with first copy. The remaining 50 percent will be only when the film is accepted says Santhu.
Music director Arjun Janya present on this occasion of ‘Trailer’ of Alemari release said in the 30 days he had seen the work of director Santhu closely at re-recording table. He does not appear as first timer says Arjun Janya.
The pride of Kannada cinema today actress Radhika Pandit with Yogish in this film says the audio response has made her feel very happy. The tension and anxiety is building up she pointed in her short address. Nayana of reality show is in the cast of this film says BK Srinivas is paternal uncle to her. Actor Rakesh was happy as the film connects to the youths of today.
