There are very few Bollywood films which are barred from the accusations of being a copy or a rip off of some international films. And the latest to join the infamous league is Bipasha Basu’s forthcoming film ‘Jodi Breakers’. The film stars South Indian superstar R Madhavan and dusky beauty Bipasha Basu in lead. And when the first look of the film was recently released, it made the world sit back and notice that the film has undeniable resemblance to a 2010 French rom-com ‘Heartbreaker’ that originally starred Romain Duris and Venessa Paradis.
Many have even accused the filmmakers for making an unofficial remake of the French film. It is also being said that a legal action may soon be taken on the makers of the Indian flick as the production house that holds the rights of the original have already learnt about the development over the film in India.
