Ever since filmmaker Karan Johar revealed the news of making a mythological movie on novel titled 'The Immortals of Meluha', several websites have started taking polls on who would be most suitable to play the roles of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Earlier, Karan had two names in his mind for the role of Lord Shiva- Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. Later, few reports suggested that Hrithik has given green signal to feature in Karan's next.
However, the filmmaker has not yet approached any actress to play the lead. According to the results of the survey, the most favorite and suitable actor to play the role of Shiva's wife is Vidya Balan. The other frontrunners in the competition are Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra. However, Vidya has emerged as clear winner in the polls and now it's the filmmaker's last call to decide on whom would he rope in to play the coveted role of Parvati.
