Deepika Padukone denies being approached for 'Chennai Express'

Bolly hottie Deepika Padukone has shunned the rumours related to her being roped in to play female lead in Rohit Shetty's upcoming flick 'Chennai Express' that also features superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Speculations were rife that the dusky beauty was approached to play lead opposite King Khan, to which the leggie has now denied saying that if she would have got the wonderful opportunity she would have surely considered it.

Deepika is already in awe of King Khan with whom she marked her debut through Farah Khan's 'Om Shanti Om'. The 'Desi Boyz' actor was all praises for Rohit Shetty as Deepika has enjoyed watching the filmmaker's comedy series flick 'Golmaal'. Of late Deepika was in news for her failed relationship with liquor baron Siddharth Mallya.

The leggie beauty was also sued by filmmaker Ramesh Taurani for acting unprofessional by walking out of his film with any prior notice.
