Actress Lisa Ray made her Bollywood debut in 2001 with "Kasoor" and she is best known for her work in the Oscar-nominated film "Water". She also acted in a Telugu film Takkari Donga opposite Mahesh Babu.

Her fiance also tweeted, "Went to Napa Valley, God’s country, looking for my angel @Lisaraniray. Found her and brought her back an engaged woman."
Lisa, born to a Bengali father and a Polish mother, has had a successful battle with cancer after she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2009. She announced she was cancer-free in 2010 after a stem cell transplant.
